MY FREAKING CAR!!!!!!! took my car for monthly service and have full diagnostic ran on the vehicle from my mechanic. My battery was at a 53% everything else WAS PERFECT SHAPE!! Went to AutoZone for a battery. short skinny short hair Hispanic man offers to install I happily accept the assistance and TIPPED GENEROUSLY. He explains the installation as he's doing it he's smashing his hammer on the battery connectors. Now my car keeps dying and won't accelerate. ANOTHER BILL !! my vehicle was serviced by 8 days before AutoZone 4 days after now stalling out. Will have the mechanic diagnose again and will file complaints and suits. IF YOU CANNOT FIX EMPLOYEES DAMAGES YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWING EMPLOYEES WORK ON CUSTOMERS VEHICLES!!!

@Hall Dakota. Sounds like your vehicle is having other issues. If the battery were the problem you wouldn't be able to start the car after it stalled. The employee you're blaming your issue on has nothing to do with your cars symptoms. The charging system is composed of 3 parts. Battery, starter and alternator. So if you car keeps stalling but you're able to turn they key in the ignition and the car turns on everytime then the charging system is performing correctly and the AutoZoner was not the problem. Your lack of actual car knowledge and common sense has you angry at the wrong people. It would be nice if people actually knew what they were talking about before threatening peoples job with lawsuits. Your car stalling and not accelerating could be more related to throttle body, ECM faults, something cool air intake system related. Your car stalling could be a vacuum leak or a sensor or a purge canister solenoid. I'm pretty sure the autozone employee has nothing to do with your issues. I really hope after you find out the real culprit and it's nothing related to a battery install that you apologize for slandering someone's character. Auto Zone is a DIY store. I'm sure employees rather not get involved with customers and providing a service autozone does not pay them for but if not customers want to call DMs, file cust complaints, get employees fired and so on. If the battery install were the issue it would of been one you'd notice immediately or maybe it is the battery. Most often those batteries are defective right off the shelf. I go there all the time that is not an employees fault. The battery has a warranty based on what level of battery you purchased. You can swap it and install it yourself. For free actually. This guarantees no employees get blamed, nobody gets sued and you know exaclty what the problem could be since you did the install yourself. Have a good day.
