Don't fall for the scams! The got more hidden fees than the easter bunny has eggs. The management lies so much they make Obama look like Honest Abe. My wife and I signed up after receiving a mailer that said "$10 a month, no start up fees, no cancelation fees!" There was a $40 start up fee and a $80 yearly maintenance fee. They bullied my wife into paying over $120 in cancelation fees. Now, 10 months later, I receive a letter from an attorney saying we owe them more money! They provided no reason for the charge. Signing up for Gold's Gym is like being in debt to the Mafia! If you have a problem, the management will make you run around in circles like Nascar. You call and ask for a manager and they will tell you he is at the Cape gym. Then you call the Cape and they will tell you he is at the Fort Myers gym. This place is a complete joke!! This gym is run by horrible, manipulative, bullies with zero integrity! DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!!

Worst gym ever have a lot of hidden fees especially in cancelation fees. Really dirty and old. The management is also really terrible and really rude they always lie about where the manager is at. Just the most terrible gym in lee county

SO RUDE. I attended the Cape Coral location while I was working seasonally in Florida. It was cute and quiet and the people were friendly. When it was time for me to go back home, I went in to cancel my membership, where a woman gave me a paper to sign and sent me on my way. A month later I checked my bank statement from CO to find they were still charging me. I called and they redirected me to the Fort myers location where they had no record of me in their system whatsoever and asked me to leave a message for the manager when he returned, and said in the meantime she would put a note on my account about the payments until we resolved the issue. I left multiple messages and never heard back and eventually gave up since I was under the impression there was a hold on my account, anyways. Months later i'm seeing I am still being charged for the membership. I just called again to find out they had me under an entirely wrong name and address the whole time! The manager was so blatantly rude to me, implying that I was lying and refusing help in anyway. He told me I had to come back to Florida to cancel the membership and would continue to pay monthly until then unless I sent a certified letter to blah blah blah as he spurted out the address too fast for me to hear clearly. When I asked if we could wave the cancelation fee or give me a refund since I have been paying unnecessarily for months, he cackled and said "no, its policy." Some policy. How could I expect them to keep track of my cancelation forms if they can't even be organized enough to get my name right? His name is Rick and not only was his customer service poor in the sense of not helping me AT ALL but he was sarcastic, rude, and an all around douche. If Golds Gym doesn't keep a better eye on their supervisors and the way they treat people they were surely lose customers and rightfully shut their doors. I have not been spoken to like this by a grown adult in a very long time.

Great gym, Great price, Great atmosphere. Talked to Rick the sales manager and he was super helpful (despite being a rangers fan lol). He gave me two free personal training sessions and Since then I've totally looked at health and fitness with a different perspective. They helped reach my goals and change my life style for the better !!!
