Honorable Leigh Frizzell Hayes

I agree one star is too many for this judge. I knew her before she became a judge. In my opinion, she is one of the most despicable, devoid of principle, cringe worthy, morally challenged people I have ever met in my life; and I have represented inmates in federal and state prisons for the past twenty years.. She's an example of how being born with a silver spoon in your mouth and having the wealth to make hefty donations to the right politicians gave her an advantage over others so that she could obtain influence, power and a judgeship even when she is so lacking in the respect of some of her peers and the people she serves.. Governors should not be given power to appoint judges. They use that power to appoint donors who give their campaigns and their favorite candidates big donations. . This system lets lawyers gain positions as judges because of inherited wealth rather than character and ability and denies this opportunity to more worthy candidates.

Thank God this judge is gone from Charlotte County. This judge is the worst in family law. One star is actually too many.
