Flamingo Appliance Service

Recently our 9 year old Jenn Air required repair. Whirlpool referred us to Flamingo. Although it took 4 visits and 30 days to deem the fridge irrepairable, this company co-ordinated with Whirlpool (Jenn-Air) to organize warranty coil/evaporator (didnt solve) and eventually to effect a replacement unit at a depreciated value; they were honorable and agreed to refund monies paid to them for the repair visits that did not result in a repair. Definitely recommend.

Had them out during warranty period because oven was getting hot on the outside. They said it was fine. It is not fine. Now that it is out of warranty the seal is melted and we now need to pay them. They scheduled an appointment then canceled it to order the part. They rescheduled it and showed up with a dishwasher part. They keep promising to call us back and don't. They can't seem to understand we have no dishwasher issues.

I had 2 problems to be repaired. When they left I realized they had only addressed one problem. When I called I was told I would have to pay another trip charge for them to come back. I declined to have them come back and found a different repair service.

On 2/24/24, the Flamingo technician worked on my dryer. After checking the problem, the tech said the vent was obstructed. I then paid the $149 service call. Little did I know that the tech did not clear the vent, and the dryer was still failing. What kind of service is that? I use to be a big fan of Flamingo Appliance Repair, but very disappointed with this visit! I can't imagine how Flamingo Appliance Repair can think it's okay to tell me what's wrong, but fail to fix it, and then take my money on top of it. This service call deserves only 1 star. I will go elsewhere next time

The doors of our $4k stainless steel refrigerator somehow started to rust only a few months after purchasing. Flamingo ordered new doors Nov 30. It's now end of March and we have only received one of the doors. Did the other door get shipped yet? Did it get misdelivered? Who knows, Melanie from Flamingo says they have no way to check on the status of the doors they ordered for us and they don't care further. Stay away.
