When I first came here, they helped me tremendously. As time went on, I cant get a call back or my prescriptions filled. For two appointments, the doctor told me that my script was located at a specific pharmacy and that it was just out of stock. Come to find out, it was NEVER moved and once again I cant reach her. And her staff cant relay the message and told me to call 911 over the doctors lie/mistake. If you need a prescription transferred, you apparently have to wait months for the doctor to move it for you when anywhere else takes it seriously and moves it the same business day. I dont understand how I have more mental distress going here when they are supposed to solve that problem not make it worse.

At first, this place changed my life for the better. Then January rolled around and I stopped being able to get my medication filled because of stock issues at the pharmacies. I have a severe upper body injury and ADHD which severely impairs my daily life. Instead of prescribing me something comparable that I could get filled in the mean time, they left me high and dry and demanded I do a 24 hour drug test. I cant even make it to a dentist appointment to save my life with the state of mind Theracounsel has left me in. Then they want me to drop everything and quit my job apparently to do a drug test within 24 hours. I can barely make myself a meal anymore or take care of myself at all because of their carelessness. Let alone get to quest with a few hours notice. Maybe if I was medicated for my issues it wouldnt be a problem. Also at Theracounsel, they write my appointments down on a card but forget to put it in the computer then treat me like Im crazy when I show up for the appointment that they have 0 record of. They also do not return phone calls. Everyone I know who has adhd and couldnt get their meds filled was switched to something else temporarily instead of being left unmedicated for months. I hope theracounsel improves the carelessness and starts helping their patients instead of causing more mental distress and more health problems for their patients who need medication to function. I want to emphasize that they will not return your phone call unless its to give you an unnecessary cancellation fee. One thing they dont drop the ball on is collecting your payments.

TheraCounsel serves the community with the utmost respect and regard. Sherri and Ihab are extremely compassionate and committed to their clients and their employees. They really care about their community and work hard to provide the best service. I felt very appreciated and supported as one of their employees and will always be grateful to have been a part of their team! I highly recommend TheraCounsel.

After finding Theracounsel on Insurance Plan, I called and was placed with Maria Martinez, LCSW. Setting up of the appointment was easy and the fromt desk was very professional. My 1st appt was cancelled a day before hand due to an Emergency. No problem, I rescheduled for the next week. Theracounsel has a great text messaging system that messages you that you have an appt made, and you also get an appointment reminder. A week later, day before, 2nd appointment gets cancelled again, again Emergency, and I suggest maybe this wont work for me because I cant afford to wait another week and be cancelled on again. They said they would look to see if they could match me up with someone else there, but it appeared Maria was the best match for what I needed. So I made the 3rd appt, for the next week, soonest I could be seen. Received the appointment confirmation, the reminder, and even the check in for your appointment text, only to show up for the appointment to be told it was cancelled due to an Emergency. I wouldnt recommend anyone who is having their own life emergencies, that needs prompt help to come here.
