        We stayed here overnight in an ocean view suite for my spouses birthday. We liked the location and at first glance this location appeared to be quite nice. However, as we were getting ready for bed and a large adult cockroach emerged from the closet. I have stayed in many hotels across the world. I have never actually had a live roach in a room. I phoned the front desk and the attendant just laughed awkwardly and said she was embarrassed and that was that. When we received our final bill there was no mention of the roach issue, no compensation, no apology, nor were we provided a review link. So, if you are going to stay here be ready for uninvited company and if you let them know about your uninvited company they will just giggle and do nothing further for you.

        The room was amazingly spacious. The location was great for walking, opposite the entrance to Fort Clinch.

        The staff were polite and efficient. The artwork was tasteful. The bed was comfy and the room felt like home. The floors were super clean everywhere. Worth the stay. Rooms: We were there for a car show and had a chance to walk to the nearby beach. I rushed back after dinner to enjoy the room so much. Wonderful! Noteworthy details: The have a baby grand piano that I enjoyed seeing there, and a lovely seating area throughout to just relax.
