The nightmare began after we signed the sales order! We arent the only ones. We live in Canopy Creek in Palm City FL and every time we needed anything it was all new workers showing up. Everyone leaves this company so no one knows what the other one said! Typical! No one took responsibility for anything! They would come out 6 times to fix a light switch that was never installed correctly! They finally had a young woman crawl up into the attic and drop the electric to the switch to install it! We had several workers come to our home that couldnt speak English making it more difficult. The mistakes made in our home are inconceivable. We went to an event and everyone we spoke to is having problems. Windows, roofs, electrical, plumbing, it is so sad that we the home owners are left holding the bag! Its been almost 2 years and we still have whats called a punch list. New windows were supposed to come in and it never happened! I wish we had a do over! I would tell anyone to never build with this company period! They now tell people sign releases that doesnt allow them to sue or write reviews in order to fix their homes we were just told last week. How unprofessional and unethical. They are hiring an attorney!

Terrible builder. They are not responsive at all. We still have plaster all over our walls and have had for over a month and a half. The vendors they choose are cheap and sloppy. Do not have them build your home. Five months and still working through a long punchlist. Excuses, excuses excuses. We cant entertain, we have holes in our walls from their contractors they have brought in to try to fix things. We are also in Canopy Creek, beautiful, lots, only wish Kolter would stand behind what they build and do whats right. Im happy to edit this review once they do the proper repairs.
