Very disappointed in Dr. Lehrs professionalism. I called last Friday with a referral for a second opinion on a surgery. His staff said they are not allowed to contact him until Thursday; the staff said that Dr. Lehr would be very unhappy to be contacted at any time prior to Thursday. I received a call back the following Thursday and was told he does not involve himself in second opinions and does not care that he was referred or that I was quite desperate. He refused to even consult with his opinion. A sense of common courtesy within the practice was absent and any internal communication system does not value prospective patients time or medical issues. Dr Lehr is probably a fine physician, he wouldnt have been recommended if he wasnt; I just wish he operated with more compassion, courtesy, and respect with his communication. His staff is above kind. Pamela specifically was a gem.
