I went to the ER with an extremely painful infected gallbladder. Dr. Schiller talked to me in pre-op and explained the surgery, a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. She was personable and answered all my questions, putting me at ease. The surgery went well, and I had no complications, fever, nausea or bleeding. Dr. Schiller did the whole thing with four quite small incisions which are healing very well. I am sure she operated with great care and precision because I barely had any discomfort after surgery. Dr.Schiller came to talk the next morning about the surgery and what to expect after discharge. Again, she was super friendly and easy to talk to, and thoroughly explained my condition. I followed up two weeks later at her well-organized office to check my healing, which is phenomenal with very minimal scars. I again found her to be very approachable and informative and competent. I am a retired RN, so I have some basis for comparison regarding my experience with this surgeon. I can highly recommend Dr. Schiller and I would definitely refer my friends and family her. Thank you, Dr. Schiller!

I wouldnt be here writing this today if not for Dr. Schiller. It is no exaggeration to say that she saved my life Earlier this year I was caught blind- sided by her ne of the most dangerous and aggressive infections known to this worldnecrotizing fasciitis. It is a brutal bacteria that literally causes maimed the flesh of its host,and is as common as getting hit by lightning. I was admitted to Boca Regional in critical condition with this disease that very few doctors ever see in their careers. My flesh was literally being eaten alive and there wasnt a moment to waste. She tirelessly worked on me for days, led an ICU team that stabilized my infection,removed dead and damaged tissue, and ultimately led me on a path to recovery. Looking back on the episode, Im wowed and humbled by her abilities. Less than 50% of people survive what I went through, and Im here today purely due to the incredible skill and compassionate care of Dr. Schiller
