Not so long ago I was delivering auto parts to this business After some time you get to know the people and on the Mechanic side is 45 years of experience in this one man service shop Since I got to know them I have never taken my car anywhere else I have never had any issues and this place and the people that work there are a huge blessing to me in my life and when it comes to fixing your car and having it ready in a timely manner That is always a huge blessing!! Im extremely disappointed. I bought a vehicle here, cash, in December after my other vehicle was flooded from the hurricanes, and it already needs a new transmission. I called to ask in what ways they could help. Peggy answered the phone and wasnt sure what to say, so immediately, Rick jumped on the phone and without me even saying anything to him, became defensive and gave me a too bad, so sad type answer, that there is absolutely nothing they can or will do for me. Every time I tried to speak, he cut me off and spoke over me. Instantly defensive. Sounds like maybe this has happened before or else he might have been more compassionate to a customer who paid cash and got 8 months out of it. I should have known better when I first bought the vehicle and there wasnt even gas in it for me to get home, so Rick put a lousy $5 in. My second warning should have been when the vehicle sat for a day, then wouldnt start, which is interesting when he said hed put a new battery in. All around a deceitful experience. Id love to support a hard working family used car dealership, but unfortunately I think theyre business is suffering for these very reasons, mainly a complete lack of care or concern for the customer. Dont go here, even if youre desperate.
