I should have given a review several years ago when Ortiz did a bridge for me. But this man has wholly scarred me from ever trusting a dentist again. I remember screaming in disbelief when he showed me the final work. I cried so much I couldn't see the road to get home. I trusted this man because I was his patient when he was on HWY 50, close to State Rd 455. I trusted this man, and I would drive an hour and a half to be under his care. But, the results of his last dental work still haunts me to this day. I have consulted with other dentist to replace the poor work he did, and they all tell me that the materials he used for the bridge have not been used in decades. Plus, the bridge has metal and the dentist I have consulted with all said they would never have used those materials for the bridge. Also, the color of the bridge is yellow and does not blend with my natural teeth. Every time, I brush my teeth it is a constant reminder of his insensitivity and pure disregard of the tears I shed on that chair the day he put the bridge. He ruined my smile and my confidence to smile. I should have confronted him at the time for the horrible work, but I was so distraught all I wanted to do was run out that door. Also, he didnt have a dental coordinator at the time that I can remember. The front desk person that answers the phone was the one handling the insurance, and Ortiz was the one acting as coordinator. They both failed to let me know that my insurance would not pay for the bridge because of an existing missing tooth that was replaced years earlier to the damaged tooth that needed the work. The day the bridge was installed was when they had the audacity to tell me I owed $2,500 dollars. Please, please get several opinions in writing before you have any dental work that is going to impact your life. I have not seen a dentist since this horrific experience, and was forced to see one recently. Ive needed to see one sooner but because of the fear and distrust I now have for dentist I have procrastinated in seeing one. Unfortunately, by not seeing one you are only hurting yourself, so please find one you feel comfortable with. When consulting with a new dentist please pay attention to their screening procedure and what your insurance will and will not pay. Because, there are procedures in the screening process that your insurance will not pay and you will have to pay out of pocket. Make sure you understand before you agree to anything. And if you need major work done I do not recommend Ortiz.. He is great at extracting teeth, and recommending you wear dentures, like he has done with several of my friends.

Great service!
Walked in without an appointment in need of help to fix a crown that felt off, they worked me in the schedule and made sure they helped. I've been coming to this dentist for 3 years and I was always happy, i am not one to write reviews unless i am really happy or really mad, but this time they went above and beyond to make sure they took care of my problem. The Dr has a very good hand and is very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.

They only let me know that they were no longer receiving my insurance, on the day of the consultation. After almost two months of waiting.
