ClearEdge Title

As one of the top producing realtors in the nation, to leave a 1 star google review is reflective of what I believe is reckless practice by a title company. The sub par performance, abysmal communication, failure to perform job duties (failure to collect the wire from the buyer, but closing the transaction anyway) blatantly lying to the Realtors and Lender on the deal, I am shocked they are in business. A formal letter to the CEO is coming next.

I would not recommend ClearEdge Title to anyone that would like to close on their house on time. They were not willing to communicate via phone although they told us in an email to call them with any questions. Prior to our closing date, we contacted them via phone 3 times to clarify wiring instructions and did not get a single call back despite leaving voicemails. I found this very unprofessional and apathetic. Then our closing date came, the closing team from ClearEdge was finishing up the closing process on our new home. This is our first home so we were beyond excited to finally get the keys! They promised that this would get completed that day. However, this team decided to go home in the middle of that process. We didn't even get an email letting us know that we could not be able to close in time. So for a few hours we sat there trying to get in contact with them but we got no response. This happened on a Friday so we had to cancel our movers and deliveries that were scheduled for the weekend. This was all on them since we got requested documents back to them within minutes of asking. On the following Monday, we not no explanation and a simple, "I do apologize for the inconvenience." My experience from this company, especially the closing team, is that they do not care about you. This company has the values of selfishness and unprofessionalism. They advertise on their website that they have the ClearEdge Way. They say that means it "enables us to deliver exceptional performance in all transactions." They were not even able to deliver acceptable performance in our transaction. I understand things happen and people are not able to close on time, however the lack of communication from the closing team at this company was beyond disappointing. So again, I would not recommend ClearEdge Title to anyone.

Clear Edge Title is an amazing company and always professional. I am a Moblie Notary/ Loan Signing Agent and have handled several closings for Clear Edge Title. Matt, is very helpful and respectful, whenever I have questions or concerns he is always available to assist. Thank you for allowing me to assist your clients with their real estate transactions.
