Hideaway Waterfront Resort & Hotel

This was such a great find!! I needed a place to stay near my parents' condo near the Westin Resort - so this was absolutely perfect! An older hotel, but you will find it as I did - EXTREMELY clean and in a great location in Cape Coral. Front side of the hotel has a lovely inground pool and the back side of the hotel you will find that it is on a canal with docks to sit on & hang out along with a cute little man-made beach for tots to play in the sand. You can't beat the price and the service!! Donna and her front office staff are very pleasant and accommodating. I would certainly go back! Nearby activities: Westin Resort with restaurants and shops are only 2 miles from this location. Bars, restaurants are also nearby in Cape Coral and also a quick Uber ride to downtown Fort Myers. Walkability: Safe neighborhood to walk in and not far at all to walk to Publix. Quick easy Uber rides to restaurants and bars.

This place was the best place we have stayed in yet! I'm was so cute n cozy n comfy. The staff was amazing n they were helpful when whatever we needed. The pool was amazing ! The back of the motel has a tiki n deck w grills n water views m they were beautiful! We will definitely be bk that is for sure!!

My husband and I went there for a vacation with his family. Upon arriving at the hotel, we got our keys only because my in laws got them for us due to it being after hours for their office due to a delayed flight. We went to our room and the physical door was barred. Upon attempt to enter, the guy in the room came to the door mumbling excuses and basically ran away to his truck. We were aware at that point it wasnt a double booking situation and something more sinister was going on. The night manager picked up after many calls and came in. She said we had no proof someone was in our room (despite them having cameras) and the manager on the phone said the same thing. Our whole party of probably 6 rooms checked out and went to a safer hotel nearby. The manager called my mother in law the next morning and said they wouldnt fight the fraud charges if we promised to not bash his hotel online IN A RECORDED VOICEMAIL. Well despite them putting that forward as proof, the credit card company sided with them and forced them to pay for the whole stay despite us not staying the whole time due to safety concerns. This place is unclean, not safe, and fraudulent. Do not stay here. Safety: This hotel is not safe. They give out extra keys to rooms they think will be vacant to people. Noteworthy details: This hotel is unsafe.
