Easily one of the best companies to have worked with. All the staff were professional and truly helpful. You could tell they cared about the properties and the people who live in them.

I feel like most people who leave poor reviews make a habit of it. Like its a pasttime to post these things on the internet as an outlet for anger. Let me clear/ I am only taking time to do this so you do not buy or rent at any properties this company manages. I dont want to waste another thought on these folks past this post. I moved into the villas at oak bend in 2022. This is when the strange interactions with Rescom began. When I visited their office for the first time to fill out my application, their secretary did the strangest thing- asked me if I knew anyone looking to hire because she said her bosses were so bad. That was odd. Next, I had several neighbors approach me right away (as I was moving boxes into my home) asking if I would join a committee that was meant to review all expenditures from the HOA to uncover fraudulent activity committed by the HOA. This was shocking. Im 35 and moved there with my young daughter thinking it was an awesome find close to the skyway bridge for my commute to work. What I ended up finding out is that people who work for Rescom also sit on the HOA board at some of the properties- highly suspect. They hire companies to perform work in the neighborhoods that are owned by their own family members (huge conflict of interest). And worst of all, thousands of dollars unaccounted for were spent on neighborhood projects not discussed with owners. For the most part I tried to stay out of the neighborhood politics because who wants to be involved with that? But then our HOA fees skyrocketed in order to make up for the illegal expenditures from the HOA folks/Rescom (they seem to be one and the same). Other tenants ended up hiring a lawyer to fight this. Its wild and still ongoing. Now lets name some names. Vivian Kenyon is the person I have spoken with most frequently in my interactions and she is dismissive and unprofessional. Her husband, Michael Kenyon, is also in Rescom management and also on the HOA board. She refuses to answer emails and phone calls at this point. I am owed an HOA fee that was pulled from my bank account after selling my home and she refuses to refund the money. I sold in January and a withdrawal came out in February. Its now almost April and no refund. Ive called and emailed and come to the office (no one will see me). Im so shocked. I feel like this is a bad reality tv drama. There are many wonderful places to live in manatee county. I urge you to find any place other than the locations this company manages. I ended up moving just to escape it.
