Mr. Compton has done a suberb job of maintaining my red -gold -faced 1944 Bulova watch, including after I accidentally went swimming with it on. As soon as I realized that I took it off amd hightailed it to Mr. Compton, a true craftsman. I beleve it's one of his nephews has a shop in Bethesda where I get my German box clock serviced. This is a family of superb clocksmiths, a tradition that is disappearing and one that I have cherished for 40 years.

Very very hard to find. There is zero signage in their block, or on their floor etc. Once you manage to find your way here they provide a good service.

I stood at the small counter for 15 minutes and I did not receive any service!!! So, I left and went across the street to Boone and Sons @ 1025 Connecticut Ave NW received service right away!!

Fast and efficient service with a very fair price. I have been here twice for minor repairs/fixes and was out within 20 minutes both times. Highly recommend!!
