Hyatt Place Washington Dc/White House

Great location next to the Metro and walkability around DC. My only gripe with this property is that during breakfast, there is a lack of walking space and seating especially during busy times (Cherry Blossoms).

Went during Cherry Blossom season and Easter weekend. We had a two queen + sofa bed room. Room was clean, up to date and roomy for 3 people. We were on the 7th floor with a decent street view. Location is great. Close to White house, Mall & museums. Multiple City bus stops & Metro are within 1 block and made easy access to Georgetown, Union Station and the Mall. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine but the combo Lobby/Restaurant is packed during the last hour of breakfast. Tip: St Regis Hotel is next door. They have a great bar with crazy expensive cocktails, but checkout the free guest champagne ceremony in their lobby Tuesday @ 6pm

Great hotel with a perfect location for the sights! Friendly staff and good breakfast! Rooms: Had one on the top floor - super big for the 4 of us! Nearby activities: All sights can be reached within 20-25 minutes on foot

I stayed here during cherry blossom season, so the hotel was pretty busy. Good size and breakfast options were plentiful, although it did get crowded. Location is awesome! Only bad thing is that our room did not get cleaned after we left for the day. We would leave our room around 10 AM, which I didn't think is so late and come back around 5 to a room that isn't clean. Also, we stayed on the third floor and it does get noisy at night, but that didn't disturb our sleep!
