The Britleys For Toddlers

Words cant describe how appreciative I am of the Britleys. We moved from LA to DC and our daughter began to attend the Britleys at 1 year old. She is now 2 years old and sings songs and counts in Spanish and Mandarin. They frequently visit museums and have a wonderful curriculum! She has built great friendships and loves her teachers. We are so grateful for the impacts on her cognitive, social, and emotional development! Thank you to all the amazing teachers at the Britleys!!

Britleys is absolutely a "hidden gem" for parents wanting to give exceptional educational experiences for their infants, toddlers, and young children -- helping them develop intellectually and socially. It is clear that Gloria (the owner) and her staff of wonderful teachers give lots of love and individualized attention to each student in their care. If I could give six stars, I would!

Our daughter has thrived since she started at The Britleys — we cannot say enough good things about the school. Gloria and her staff are incredibly thoughtful and thorough with their lesson plans and ensure the kids are always having fun while putting practical life lessons into action. We are so grateful to have found a daycare where we know our daughter is in the best care and learning environment day in and day out!

We could not be more pleased with the care and education our son received at the Britleys. The teachers are absolutely fantastic and genuinely showed great interest in our sons emotional and intellectual development. Our son joined the Britleys at 18 months when we moved back to DC. He instantly developed a bond with the teachers and by the second week he was excited to go to school making drop-offs a breeze. The bond he developed with the teachers lasted his entire time at the Britleys even during the Covid-19 pandemic when he was only able to see his teachers through remote learning (and when he requested to FaceTime with them). In addition to being very well cared for, he also received a great education. Before he turned 2.5yo he was able to identify almost every letter in the alphabet, spell his name, recognize 1-10, say some words in Mandarin and Spanish... Lastly, he also received etiquette lessons that had a profound impact on his manners to the point where he was often setting an example for his older brother who did not have the opportunity to attend the Britleys because we did not live in the area. We will absolutely be sending any future children we have to the Britleys.

The Britleys is a wonderful first 'school' experience for toddlers and parents. My daughter started just over a year of age as one of the youngest kids and really blossomed under the loving care of Gloria and her staff of teachers. They plan engaging activities and lessons and obviously really care about your kids, which is a huge relief for parents. They have great hours and are very good at giving each child what they need.
