It's a nice park for a walk or just sit and relax. The Housatonic river flows alongside and is a pretty view. Lots of events happen in the summer (non covid era)

Quietly tucked away. My 14 and 11 year old are learning to kayak this spot has a quick and easy access from parking to launch. Great learning experience.

It was an after funeral place to go that wasgood food and people. Only bad thing, woman's bathroom is on 2nd floor.

Good place to start for Shelton trails if you like ending on a downhill. Dog-friendliness: On leash, but it's a nice ~1 mile hike to the doggie park!
