I usually prefer to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Pioneer Landscape Center in Windsor, CO, was less than satisfactory. To start, customer service over the phone left much to be desired. From my interactions, the representative would say they did not have rock in stock when in fact they did when we drive by every day. Furthermore, the customer service representative wasn't helpful in finding another center or when the next shipment from rock would come in. It felt as though they didn't care, and I regrettably gave up and ordered online instead. And for some reason... IT WAS IN STOCK! This interaction was very off putting, and I was taken aback with the lack of customer service.
After ordering online, I received the order of rock 2"-4" gray rose rock within the next week. Upon delivery and start of my landscaping project, I was dismayed to find that a significant portion of it (about 1/3) was just dirt. Not only did this reduce the amount of rock I had for my project, but it also felt misleading given what I had ordered and paid for. Also, the landscaping project was not able to be finished because the amount of rock delivered was less due to the significant amount of dirt.
Lastly, the quality of the rock itself was not up to par. It lacked the consistency and appearance I was expecting with our prior order, making it challenging to achieve the desired outcome for my landscaping project.
In all, I had hoped for a smoother transaction and a higher-quality product. It's unfortunate, but I cannot recommend Pioneer Landscaping Center based on my experience.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy parking and loading process is convenient.

Had two pallets of Allen Block delivered to project site. Andy showed up on schedule, released the load, unshipped the fork lift and spotted the pallets next to the bed location. He was there and gone in 20 minutes ... including paperwork. Definitely five stars.

Went on 10/28/22- this male and his entire crew were excellent. Very helpful and professional getting me the rocks I needed. Thanks!
