JOANN Fabric and Crafts

I like to shop small, independent quilt stores when I can, but in some cases, Joannes is a lifesaver. I came in looking for bright red cotton, pom-pom trim for a pillow, and they al had exactly what I needed. I love being able to use the coupons to save a little extra money and if you register with your birthday you, can you save for entire month. Getting fabric and other yardage cut is often time-consuming so make sure to block out a little extra time to wait in line. Thanks!

Sale signs were missing in places and some sale signs seemed incorrect. I had planned on using my 60% off coupon on some baby yarn that had zero sale signs around it or anywhere in the aisle, but when I went to check out it was already on sale. I don't know if this is a new marketing scheme or what, but signage is always severely lacking at this store. I'd recommend hiring someone just to keep up with the signage for the constant sales you have, or start using digital sale signs that can be programmed from HQ.

Joann Fabrics does not respect shoppers time! There was a LONG line of people waiting to check out. There were two cashiers, often its only one. One cashier was involved in a long discussion with a customer. The other one did the best she could with the situation. There were other employees in the store who could have been called to work at the cashier area, but nothing was done to alleviate the situation. There was no sign of management anywhere! The store is a mess with merchandise spread all over shelves. Seems no one cares enough to put things away. I will shop elsewhere in the future!
