After Covid delays I finally committed to getting a Heart and Coronary Calcium CT scan and Carotid Artery IMT (CiMT) ultrasound done. With a history of heart disease and Sleep Apnea in the extended family it is something that really had to be done - if even insurance wont cover it. It was scheduled a few weeks out at Front Range Preventative Imaging in Boulder, CO. Simple CT scan and Ultrasound took all of 25 minutes and in a week and a half my results were in. Lindsay and Gary expertly walked me through my test results spending almost an hour on Zoom. This is impressive as folks often struggle to get a full 20 minutes with their Primary Physician.
They are amazing, caring and on a mission to identify heart disease early and stop it cold. They also have a team ready to help you through a variety of chronic conditions and a long list of clients that have made tremendous progress. I plan to keep working with them beyond the imaging. Take care of yourself and get this done. Im happy I did.
