I would say go pretty much anywhere else. I had an app to get a 2nd vaccine in a series of 3. After standing at the service desk for about 30-40 minutes they said I needed a doctors approval even though I had already gotten the first one from a different Walgreens. Their advice was to drive to that Walgreens. There was a lot of people upset that day it seemed. I drove across town to my usual Walgreens and got right in and got my vaccine. Such a different environment.

I dropped off two paper prescriptions yesterday. No notice to pick up, so I checked their website and found that it said "Too soon to refill" and was therefore canceled. That made no sense as these were written as new prescriptions and the last one of the same medicine was last filled over six months ago. So I called. The automated system told me I was #2 in line. Eventually #1. Then a person answered and said "Be right with you" and I was back on hold. After a total of 15 minutes and 23 seconds I was disconnected. So I went to the store and asked the reason. The first clerk told me something about refill. I reminded him it was a new prescription. I asked for the paper copies back. They could not be found. A second clerk told me that the information on the prescriptions was inadequate and they had called the doctor who did not respond. Again I asked for the paper copies back and was unsuccessful. So I left frustrated and called the doctor's office. I learned that the doctor's office did, in fact, call back but was put on hold for 30 minutes and was then disconnected. Meanwhile, the clerk at Walgreen's blamed short staffing. My thinking is that they will soon lose enough business that maybe they could handle a fraction of their current business.

Don't count on this pharmacy for prescription fills if you actually need them. Needed antibiotics for a sinus infection and here I am a day later still waiting. Don't listing this place as my primary pharmacy I'll drive across town to the hospital if I have to. At least they can fill a prescription and have it ready in less than half a day. This isn't the first time I've had this issue with them either.

The pharmacy takes too long to process prescriptions. Trying to contact pharmacy personnel by phone is almost impossible and frustrating. You'll wait in the queue on the phone for 30 minutes, then it'll ring and ultimately the call will disconnect before you can speak to a person. This happens time and time again.

I have been on hold with the pharmacy for over an hour.... my meds were called in 2 days ago and aren't ready. This is totally irresponsible and I don't know how it's even allowed. I called 8 hours ago and they said it'd be filled soon and I NEED TO TAKE IT TONIGHT. So frustrating.
