Walgreens Pharmacy at Children's Hospital Colorado - Closed

These people have always been friendly, accommodating and quick to take care of us. They get on the phone immediately to resolve any issues that come up. I would love to recommend them to you all, but sadly, they are closing soon and for good. Until that day, I do recommend this pharmacy.

Didnt share important details about a medication for my baby. Also, their waiting area was gross. They didnt pick up some gross opened beverage from a patient that wasnt there anymore and my toddler found it. I would think theyd be more thorough and tidy since theyre in one of the top Childrens Hospitals in the US. I would also like to add, the Aurora Childrens Hospital should just have its own pharmacy with more staff and a larger waiting area. And it should be a 24/7 one. The hospital Ive had my babies in has a 24/7 pharmacy that was amazing. I would expect more from Childrens Hospital. The hours are limited at the Walgreens pharmacy.

I give two stars because it's nice having a Walgreens actually inside the hospital. Allows parents who don't want to leave their child a place to get a couple things. Otherwise I would have to say it is very inconvenient. One, the selections of what seem most important to sell are not very good. They need to prioritize their muchandice for retail better. Their hours of business are horrible, the worst I have ever seen at any Walgreens I have been to. I'm not saying they need to be twenty four hours a day but it would be more convenient for customers. Even just opening at seven or eight and closing later would be awesome. They put prescriptions away only after one day. They also should have been made a larger building. They also always seem to have a line out the door sometimes down the hall. They need two cashier's at all times. I mean come on. I'm sure the hospital is not lacking in money. They could have made the Walgreens a little bigger.

Told me two days in a row my meds would be there the next day. Had to wait three days, then told it was backordered. Four extra days of pain, thanks TJ. Can the techs not understand what backorder is?
