Lakehurst Water & Sanitation

Customer service leaves very little to be desired. Over 40 years of doing business in that area, we maybe had to contact them 3-4 times with minor questions regarding billing issues. Their receptionist consistantly appeared rude and impatient. Most of the time she never even allowed me to complete my question before cutting me off and/or yelling "hold on! Just hold on!" and literally immediately placing me on hold. Why work as a receptionist if you are unable to speak kindly to people?

Absolutely the worst public utilities company in the state. We don't even drink the water from the faucet. It tastes like literal garbage. Speaking of garbage, let's talk about some of the people who work there. There's one in particular individual who's employed by them who is exceptionally nasty. Just a foul, turdfaced excuse for a human. Absolutely no compassion, whatsoever! PEOPLE WHO ARE STRUGGLING ARE NOT YOUR ENEMY! You're an absolute embarrassment to humankind for needing to be told this. I sincerely hope for everyone in this district, they fire this person. I simply cannot be the only person who's complained about them. I know this because I've spoken to neighbors who have had bad interactions with this person.

Have had autopay setup for months, for some reason their horrible payment system does not work for one month and to correct their error they want to charge me $2.50 just to make a payment. They also threaten water shutoff just so they could charge another ridiculous charge. Worst, most inept water company I have ever had to deal with.

If I could rate a zero, I would. I moved from Denver Water to Lakehurst Water and all my thriving fish died. I can't keep fish alive on Lakehurst Water, so what am I drinking?

Ive set up automatic payment twice in the past 5 months, it never goes through. I didnt see a payment withdrawal or a statement last month so I called a couple times trying to get someone to assist. Ive still yet to get a call back. The online portal is frequently down and that is another road block to paying your bill. How can this be an acceptable service for the peoples basic human needs?
