Ascension Lutheran's Extended Day Preschool

My girls love going to preschool here!! The teachers are fantastic and it's a very caring environment! I would definitely recommend sending their kids here!

We love our preschool!  Our kids get one on one attention in a caring and nurturing environment.  Our twins started out the program a couple days a week at the age of 2.5; now they attend 3 days a week and they are almost 4 years old and flourishing!  They've have grown and learned so much - they adore their teachers and love going to school.  I do wish the school was open 5 days a week and had extended hours because we love it so much! I truly can't say enough wonderful things about the program and the teachers!

Great teachers and staff. Our son loves going to school and always comes home excited about what he learned that day. Excellent preschool.

We are not a religious family, but were desperate to get our daughter into preschool. Her birthday prevented her from going to a public school, and I searched high and low for a secular school. I finally started looking at church schools, and selected Ascension. They are so open and welcoming! They have two classrooms, one of 2 1/2-4 year olds, and one 4-5 year olds. The teachers are warm, loving, and maintain a fun but controlled classroom. My daughter is spirited, but they adore her and instinctively know how to channel her energy into constructive behavior. They are using Handwriting Without Tears, which is an excellent program, with plenty of free and outside play. They do a monthly Sunday School with their pastor, but they are aware and respectful of our lack of religious affiliation and we're by no means the only family like that in the school. Our original plan had been to use this school to bridge the one year gap until public school kicked in, but she's growing so much here, we are seriously considering keeping her here until kindergarten!

My son loves preschool at Ascension Lutheran's Extended Day Preschool. He loves his teachers, all the activities and music. We are blessed, thank you Ascension for all you do!!
