Vern's Place

Verns is decent quality all American food. The burgers are good. The fries are better and the ranch is worth tasting. Everything that weve had at Verns, and weve eaten here multiple times, has been satisfying. The service is always great and when its warm enough to sit on the patio, Its lovely. Wheelchair accessibility: Verns wheelchair accessibility is usually pretty good. Theres a zero entry door and a ramp to the patio. Sometimes its a little hard to navigate in between the tables and the bathroom is a little bit small. Theres only two accessible parking spots and theyre not clearly marked, and so are often filled with cars without hangtags/disability parking placards. In general, though Verns is worth a stop if youre in Laporte and hungry, youll be greeted with a smile and have a good meal. Food was horrible. Salad and corn I could not eat. Chicken fried steak was burned. Very disappointed.
