Nickel and dime you. Waited 30 minutes to cash a check that was from their bank. And while waiting they left me and talked to other people multiple times while I was waiting. It was the craziest customer service. Now Im late getting back to work.

When we bought a vehicle more than a year and a half ago, the dealership gave us AACU as our only loan option. AACU required us to set up bill pay through our bank. They provided address for AACU. Payments were going through without issue for 15 months, then AACU started calling my wife saying they were not receiving payments and that we need to call back. The ph# they gave was not listed online. We thought it may be a scam. Meanwhile, when we checked our bank acct, we could see the payments were still going out. They called again. Since Eng is a second lang for, my wife I spoke to AAFCU. I was added as the primary contact after we explained why. They said they were not receiving payments and we should check to make sure our bank was still sending to the same address. We checked, and they were. I paid over the phone and asked AACU if their address had changed. They unequivocally stated their address had not changed. They said occasionally the mailed check from a borrower's bank, may get lost in the mail as a one-time issue. We checked a month later and all seemed well with the next payment. Three months past, and AACU started calling my wife again instead of me. My wife returned their call but she couldn't understand and we were worried about a possible scam. A week later, my wife forwarded me a vm, I called and they said they had not received a payment for 61 days so it will affect my wife's credit. Our accounts were linked so they knew we were never short the money. I paid the total overdue on the phone. AACU blamed my bank and our bank said it was AACU rejecting payments. I asked AACU if their address had changed. Again, I was told no. I looked to see where our bank was sending payments and it was to AACU's Highlands Ranch address. I asked the rep at AACU a 3rd time if their address had changed. He said no. I told him that our bank was sending it to an address in Highlands Ranch, and he said "Oh, that address did change." He said my wife's credit would still be adversely affected but it's not their fault. So they lied about their address not changing. They did not call me back as instructed, and they failed to communicate with my bank and reach out to determine why payments were not going through. Perhaps they should change their name to Error Academy. UPDATE: See Air Academy's reply. I sent an email to the one provided and asked to discuss further. Two weeks passed, and they never contacted me. You should realize AAFCU just puts their reply out there just as a window dressing solely to save face. They don't actually care.

Called about an issue I had with my account, long story short I unknowingly had several overdraft fees on my account and I panicked because I was thinking I had money in my account. Called and explained my situation and Kris was extremely helpful. She got the fees waived, helped me get my account taken care of and was very friendly!

To whom it may concern, This is a review that is well overdue. We had a very scary, stressful, experience with a scammer over 2 months ago. We sought help at the AAFCU in Lone Tree. We had a young woman, Moira McGraw help us with everything. I mean everything! It was a several hour experience. She was very comforting for us and encouraging. If she wasnt sure about something, she got on the phone and immediately got the answer. There is not enough space here to tell you what a wonderful job she did. We left there feeling so confident in the service from AAFCU. Moira calmed all our concerns. She told us what we should do with passwords and at home solutions. Moira is so professional, very knowledgeable, really made a difference in our whole frightening experience. Thank You Peter and Cindy Krogh
