Associates in Family Medicine Harmony Clinic - a member of Village Medical

If I could rate this lower, I would. I used to love Associates and would recommend them to almost anyone for medical care. However, since transitioning to Village Medical, Ive had nothing but problems with their billing department. Random charges get added to bills that you then have to spend months seeking resolution. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Ever since Village Medical took over this place has been a disaster. It was so good as Associates in Family Medicine and we never had a single issue until it transitioned to Village Medical. My partner was checked into urgent care and confirmed it was a $30 copay, but then was not only charged way more than what we have been in the past, but was charged for a specialist visit on top of that. It took weeks to fight and while we were trying to sort everything out we logged in an saw that it was in collections- even though we were assured it wouldn't be as long as things were being reviewed. Fast forward to his annual visit where a doctor asked him a simple question about how his sleep was, which he answered, and now they are trying to charge for a visit on a fully covered preventative appointment. It was never disclosed to him that there would be an extra cost for answering a simple question and they charged our insurance for two separate appointments! He has been calling for weeks now trying to get it resolved and nobody has been helpful and they just keep telling him it will be reviewed. We are definitely reporting to the BBB. It's such a shame because we loved the practice when it was Associate's in Family Medicine. Definitely recommend finding another place to go.... Update: They now sent the second charge to collections after telling us it is under review for weeks now. They keep promising to resolve the issue and call but then send overdue statements and collections threats. Village Medical took a great practice and really ruined it with unethical practices. We have called and spoken to billing so many times and nobody is helping resolve it.

I was about 5 minutes late and no one made me feel like a bad guy for this. I was happy about that as we all have very busy schedules and sometimes we need a little bit of wiggle room. The Dr saw me quickly and he made me feel good about the progress I have made. Overall it was a good Dr visit.

Appt. w/Dr. Rellas was fabulous as usual. He's an intelligent, caring, excellent Doctor. Making an appt. to see him, however was a horrible experience under the Village Medical system! 42 mins. on the phone w/a woman who I couldn't understand & who couldn't understand me. Then she told me she'd made appt. for me to see "Mr. Rellas", for which I harshly corrected her. In the future, my family will go to the office to make appts. where, thankfully, they still have their kind & friendly people who speak clear English & respect Dr. Rellas for his hard-earned title of Doctor. Interaction prior to going to office would get NO stars-the 5 star rating is for Dr. Rellas!
