    The truck we reserved online was not available when we went to pick it up. The instructions for 24/7 did not work so we had to do a 30 minute process with an agent over the phone to be able to get the 15 truck. We finally got the key and opened the front, it smelled like cigarettes, mud, cigarette butts and ashes were in the floors, the cup holders were ashtrays, the floor was disgusting and one of the vents was broken. The app asks you to send pictures when you say the car is dirty however you can add only 1 picture. So I took this extra 2 just in case. Then we start the car and it had less than 1/16 of the tank. When we asked the agent about gas reimbursement if we were to fill it up and not use all the gas. She said that u-haul doesn't do it and if we wanted to go anywhere we needed to add gas for the miles we needed and any excess they won't give us back and that we need to return the truck with the amount we got it or more but no less. The back of the truck had a weird net on it that we didn't need or use but probably someone left it there. Returning the truck was better but we had to park the truck back in the same mud/dirt area. Worst experience ever

    They dont even deserve 1 star I showed up only to wait 30 minutes before anyone would even help me. Then they took another 20 minutes to finally get me checked in. When I got to my truck it only had a quarter of a tank of gas. I went back in to let them know . They said to bring it back the same which we did that evening I received my receipt via email and I was charged $68 for gas. Now Im in the process of dealing with the customer support line. Dont go to this location theyre terrible and very unprofessional

    Inside the convenience store that was not yet built in the picture. The young man that rented the van to me did not tell me much of anything before or after my rental. He was too busy serving convenience store customers. His communication skills were poor and opaque. I estimated my mileage exactly, yet U-Haul charged me DOUBLE the fuel, so while the van is rated 6-8 MPG, I got 3.3 MPG! When I contacted customer service about this, they said "it is not an exact science". There are also a lot of hidden charges during the rental process that add up to at least TRIPLE the rental cost. For example, insurance is 50% of the rental cost! So be aware they will make you cough up money no matter how much you try to save it.
