Dr Medina. Is the very best at what he does, no mesh surgery needed very detailed and patient explained everything very well . We Drove from ColoradoSprings on the day of my surgery had a snow storm the night before there’s was an accident on the I25 . Ran late for my appointment. Dr Media and staff waited on there time kudos to everyone . Also Jennifer was very friendly and knowledgeable made it easy to set up my appointment and schedule my surgery. Thanks !!! Highly recommend

While my surgery itself was good. Billing and Saint Josephs Hospital aftercare are a nightmare. Six months after surgery I am still fighting billing issues. Would use Dr. Madina again, but would have to be at another hospital.

Dr Medina is a life saver for me! He had my hernia takin care of right away no mesh for me thank God! Took about an hour for surgery but it felt like 5 minutes! The staff was all very friendly at the surgery center and I appreciate his receptionist Jennifer she made sure everything was scheduled and everything was correct the whole way through I just want to thank everyone involved.

I had an appointment with Dr. Medina back in August of 2023. Nice guy, front desk was great too. Nothing terrible to say about Dr. Medina, I'm sure he's a really great surgeon with lots of experience. That is why I reached out to him in August because I believed he was the best in Colorado. He diagnosed me with a small inguinal hernia, I asked for an ultrasound but was refused one. Was told that he has 23 years of experience and that a physical exam was more than plenty. I decided not to book my appointment for surgery at that time because of the refusal for an ultrasound. I saw 2 more doctors and also got an ultrasound from my pcp. Come to find out, I only had a cord lipoma and not an inguinal hernia. Point being, don't rely on physical exams only, demand an ultrasound to identify if you have an inguinal hernia or a cord lipoma. There is a very big difference and cord lipomas do NOT require surgery and they should NOT be classified in the same category as an inguinal hernia. Almost 3 months later, I've healed my cord lipoma and would have regretted jumping into unnecessary hernia surgery with a mesh implant. Always get a second or 3rd opinion, ask if you have a cord lipoma, and demand an ultrasound.
