I am extremely pleased with Dr. Vanderveen and her team. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and had dr. Vanderveen perform the surgery on my neck. Paul at the front desk was extremely caring and attentive, going out of his way to help me with my schedule always in a attentive manner. Tara and all the other nurses were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me throughly in all the occasions I was in the office. Dr. Vanderveen and her surgery team were beyond helpful and empathetic. I couldnt have had a better team

I am a week out after having parathroid surgery and have had no bad effects from the surgery.  Dr Vanderveen is very detailed oreinted which is good in a surgeon. But frankly, she drove me crazy with her perfection, and redunate testing. I just wanted to get away from her and never want to see her again. She "unloaded" on me after surgery about how hard it was to do the surgery. Like it was something I could control. The one bright spot in the practice was Paul who is like the very best you could want representing your practice. He is competent, intelligent, and does not need alot of explaination. He is also very efficient.

Dr. Vanderveen is TOP in her field.  I live in Colorado Springs and I had heard horror stories about how painful parathyroid surgery is and I was amazed at how well I felt after the surgery.  I had my surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Tues.  I had NO pain and didn't need the voice and neck therapy that others need.  I am so blessed to have found her.  Her staff is top notch and friendly as well.  Paul at the front desk is very helpful and friendly and Jordan the male nurse or PA is great too.  They take time to answer all your questions and make you feel as if you are their only patient.  If you are looking for the BEST Dr in Denver, look no further.  Diana

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Vanderveen (and her PA Ann) for my thyroid surgery. Her entire staff is knowledgeable, warm and professional and made the whole process so much easier for me. She is thorough and takes the time to answer every question, which is crucial when a patient is going through a confusing time. I'm 3 months out from surgery, which was done so well. I was in and out, and my scar has healed remarkably. I would recommend this team to anyone in need of thyroid surgery.
