DTC Surgery Center

My rating does not come from the surgery itself, but the payment for it. There was a $1500 charge on my bill that should have been fully covered by insurance, and had I not questioned it never would have gotten noticed. Once I notified them, it took over 1 year to finally get it sorted out. At one point during this time I was told the bill had been sent to collections with the $1500 charge despite this not being a valid charge. DTC Surgery Center needs to do a better job of making sure bills are accurate, as there may have been thousands of dollars that people are paying that they should not have to pay. If you are a customer, I recommend questioning every part of the bill to ensure it is correct.

From the online pre-registration, to the check-in, and finally the recovery...I can't say enough positive things about this facility and their team. My son's team from pre-op all the way through post-op was amazing. Thank you for taking care of him the same way you would a family member, we truly appreciate everything you all did! He's doing great at home so far.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the DTC Surgery Center. My experience was very positive and I highly recommend this group! From the warm and welcoming ladies that greeted me at the checkin desk, to the staff in Pre Op and Post Op. There was no doubt the staff were a professional team of people that have worked well together for a long time. I was beyond anxious having to be there without family (COVID safety practices) and the staff were so kind and compassionate, while helping keep me preoccupied and easing my nerves. My transportation/contact was well informed of my progress throughout the morning and I was sent home with everything I needed. I read some reviews about the facility and while it may be a bit older, I didn't feel it was any less clean or less prepared for adequate patient care than any other facility I've been to for surgery.
