The Empowered Companion honors connection between animals and their companions through heart-led services, including Animal Reiki Meditation & Education, Compassionate Care Pet Sitting, Collaborative Feline Training & Behavior Modification, and Companion Animal End of Life Services. Clients come to us to help forge an equal and sustainable connection to the animals in their lives. We open space for love, authenticity, agency, and sovereignty. 

We passionately support and celebrate the human-animal bond through subtle energy healing modalities, informed, professional in-home care, evidence-based training and pet guardian education. We find deep affection and joy in high-quality pet sitting and value long-term companion care relationships. At The Empowered Companion, we strive to connect from the heart with all animals, non-human and human, and with animals in all stages of life, including highly sensitive and senior pets.

Our animal and business ethics are adapted from the Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics across all services:

We respect all animals as equal partners in the healing, living, and dying process. We honor animals as being not only our clients, but also our teachers in the journey of life. We understand that all animals have physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, to which a mindful presence can bring profound connection and healing responses. We believe that bringing a heart-led presence to the human/animal relationship is transformational to the human view of the animal kingdom. We dedicate ourselves to the virtues of humility, integrity, compassion and gratitude across all animal care modalities. We honor animal agency and listen with all our senses to allow them to lead the way.

Pet Sitting Services are offered in Englewood, Cherry Hills Village, Sheridan, and South Metro Denver, CO. All other services are offered throughout the Denver metro area and neighboring cities, as well as virtually within the United States.
