Awful experience. Had an allergic reaction to a medication and when I tried to get ahold of the doctor to address this, and I never got a call back.

Im so surprised by all of the other reviews. Starting with SOL was the best experience Ive had to date when it comes to finding a therapist who takes my insurance. They truly went above and beyond when we were trying to ensure my insurance would provide coverage for their services by making additional calls to verify and getting back to me so quickly. I think its also important to note that the experience with my specific therapist has been wonderful. I think its important to notate feedback related to the actual care providers. Admin is not the entirety of the organization.

I really like my therapist but unfortunately I may have to switch due to the way Sol Mental Health is operated. You have to check in before every appointment which isn't a huge deal but the fact that it constantly asks me to complete a survey about my anxiety and if I want to harm myself etc. is unnecessary. That process is giving me anxiety and causing me stress. Also, I understand cancellation fees. However, what I don't understand is that there is no grace given. With another facility I deal with, you get one cancellation with no charge and then they will charge you for future cancellations. Sol has a 48 hour cancellation policy. I had never cancelled on them (being treated here over a year) until last week as my best friend was admitted to the hospital and I am his POA and was talking with doctors. I messaged the night before to alert them of the emergency. I also called the next day to cancel/reschedule and explain to them the situation. She said she would bring it up to the office manager and then they so kindly charged me 100.00 with zero understanding of the situation. I could understand if I was a repeat offender but this was my first cancellation. I didn't charge them when my therapist had to cancel on me and I had already taken time off work for my appointment. It's clear that if I had been in an emergency and hospitalized, they would definitely charge me for missing and not taking any extenuating circumstances into consideration. I get that people abuse the system but it is clear by my track record that none of that is happening in this situation. I have a daughter with a medical condition and if I had an emergency with her it is clear that Sol Mental Health would have no grace or understanding in an urgent situation. I will be speaking to my therapist about reducing my visits with her as I can't afford, as a single mom, to be charged 100.00 if there is a true emergency. Therefore, the less appointments I have with her the less chance of me being charged. I may also consider switching back to Sonder Mind (used them many years ago) as I never had this happen with them. There is a lot to be said about having grace and good customer service. I see the response provided by Sol. How and when do you plan on contacting me? Do you have the info you need to reach out?

I have been very happy with their services. I have had 0 issues communicating with my provider and their email system works. It can take a few days to get a response from admins, but other than that they do great work in my opinion.

Stay far far away if you actually need help. Absolutely horrible experience. The charge is $250 every two weeks (supposedly required) to get a prescription with no other care. They then try and say that you have to cancel your appointment 6 business days before your appointment or they'll charge you anyway. There is no quality control and they are just there to collect their money. I would highly recommend finding somewhere else if you're considering your first visit with Sol.
