I highly recommend Eating Recovery Center! Our family therapist, who had extensive knowledge in the field of eating disorders, recommended ERC Denver as the premier facility for helping adolescents recover from eating disorders. We were very pleased with the treatment our daughter received. Her entire team in Denver was so impressive and it gave us peace to know how deeply they cared for our daughter. Also, the parent workshops were extremely beneficial and it helped us to connect with other families during such a difficult journey.

I cannot say enough about the incredible care we received from ERC- specifically Tess and Jenni. There was so much to learn and it felt overwhelming at the beginning. Tess and Jenni are absolute experts in their fields. They are caring and empathetic, yet know how to set goals and nudge. I didnt read the other reviews, but I know at the beginning of this journey I was anxious and very worried. Rest assured that your child is in good hands if they are fortunate enough to work with Tess and Jenni at ERC. We were in the outpatient online program.

Honestly a great center overall and could be so helpful to those in recovery. Diana, a therapist in their IOP, was especially helpful and insightful to patients, provides great discussions in group sessions. In terms of nutrition therapy, I would sincerely look to other places, as my experience with Sara in the IOP honestly caused more harm than help. My experience in the ~8 weeks spent with the ERC provided little guidance, but did offer judgmental remarks at food choices or consumption amounts, as opposed to constructive commentary as a dietician. I would have continued with the ERC if I fully trusted my treatment team, but after the comments made, which truthfully should never be made by a healthcare professional in a center for eating disorder recovery, I no longer trusted the program or the dietician to provide nutritional guidance. I wish my opinion was different on the ERC, as I could see it being so pivotal in recovery, but unfortunately did not work out for me.
