Although Ken did show up in a timely manner, I feel like I was grossly overcharged. The screen door had a deadbolt that had locked and had no key. The only solution was to remove the deadbolt so now there’s just a hole in the door with no locking mechanism. Also had a door knob and deadbolt cleaned. They were working but kind of “sticky”. He took them apart and cleaned them and put them back on. He did made me two new keys. The door knob and deadbolt basically still have the same problem. I was charged $314 for this service. I just wanted the issue fixed but now I feel like I overpaid and I’m not sure what I can do? My husband wasn’t here and he said that I shouldn’t have paid that much. We had our other house totally re-keyed, new door knobs and screen door latch repaired for less than this one job. Basically paid $314 to have a lock removed and two keys made :(
