DONT DO BUISNESS WITH STONE CRAFTERS! Horrible customer service. These women do not care about there customers. They say they'll call back and never do. The supervisor or manager is always in a "meeting" and never return calls. I cannot believe this is even an existing company. Fast food companies have better service then they do. On top of the bad service the installation was just as bad. Services: Kitchen countertop installation, Countertops

Tried to have them cut the remaining slab left over from our kitchen. They sure do make sure they get paid up front. I assume because they suck so bad and want to make sure they get paid regardless of their work. Had issues getting the seam put in the correct place. Person I was dealing with was never available. They supposedly sent to cutting before we had the seam the way we wanted it. Asked for photo of what they actually cut before they arrived. Manager didn't send. Didn't arrive for initial scheduled install date due to issues with layout. Manager said she would let me know when they were coming and never called. I left work and ran home to unhook plumbing. Installer left and said he would be back in 1.5 hours. Never came back. Called manager and she said he would be here at 3 to 4pm. So i left work again. They never showed. Called manager again she said he would be here on Saturday at 8:30. It wasn't ideal since its wife birthday and we had plans. At this point we had no running water in any of our bathrooms waiting on them so we agreed to Saturday. 8:30 am came and went. No installer here. Called manager again. She texted back and wouldn't call. Said they wouldn't be here for at least another hour. At this point we are looking at around noon, if they show up. Plus install time. Another day wasted. Good thing for them I paid them upfront. Worst customer services I have ever had from a contractor. I deal with contractors on a daily basis. The guy who measures is great, everyone is pretty much horrible. DO NOT USE

This is way overdue, but I wanted to follow through with my review for these guys. The natural dolomite marble stone they provided and chose for me is STUNNING, but my review is specifically for Linda. She's the mover and shaker around there and was awesome to work with. She's sharp, she knows her field, she means business, and she was impressive on the digital/layout side of things when choosing seams and orientation of veins, etc. What I appreciated most throughout is you can tell Linda truly cares and wants to get things done right. She also recommended our sink, which we love. Yes, I had to follow up a lot like another review alludes to, but I'm the type to follow up a lot anyway. People are busy. It's fine. The team of installers were great too, especially since my island piece was a massive "jumbo" sized slab. I was so nervous for them getting it in and they made it happen. The only thing that bothered us was the carelessness in tearing out the old granite. They simply ripped the granite off (instead of cutting the adhesive along the cabinet first) so a bunch of the cabinet material tore off with it (the panel where the double ovens are). They never fixed it. Thankfully the long term plan is to repaint the cabinets, but in the meantime it's a nuisance to look at. So that area can use improvement. But in the end, I would shop from Linda everytime even if she moved on elsewhere. Thank you!

Went to StoneCrafters for a remnant piece of granite for a small kitchen remodel for our rental condo unit (26 sq ft of granite). From estimate to install was exactly 5-weeks but ONLY because I personally acted as the project manager for this job and was extremely proactive in calling and following up. I can imagine this process taking much longer if someone was not actively managing the project timeline. Picking out the remnant piece on-site and getting a price estimate was the easy part. The rest of the process was quite painful due to their complete lack of communication. Ordering the granite in-person on-site at the 8th ave location took some time. Laying out the my kitchen measurements to fit the remnant piece I selected with pencil and paper rather than a computer program. 50% deposit due at signing and then.....crickets from StoneCrafters. Waited over a week with no phone call or follow up. I had to call to get the laser template appointment set up for the following week. Template guy was on time and said he'd submit the measurements that day. And then.....crickets from StoneCrafters. I had to follow up after another week to see what the next steps were. Take my money, I want to get this counter installed. They said they would call me to set it up. They did call me later that week and scheduled me for a Monday install. They called me back the following week to confirm Wednesday install (what?) and collect the remaining deposit. I explained I would not have scheduled Wednesday because I wasn't going to be in town and that was a mistake. Nice try though. They were able to fit us in for a Monday install but the installers were supposed to show up between 3-5p and they showed up at 6:30p. They were obviously overscheduled. Again, calling StoneCrafters to find out where the installers were and why they were late after hours was very frustrating. StoneCrafters- 2 stars (frustrating, little/no communication) Laser Template Guy- 5 stars (independant, professional, kind, knowledgable) Granite Installers- 5 stars (professional, precise, thorough) Service: Kitchen countertop installation
