All I can say is WOW! My wife and I have had many remodeling projects in 3 homes over the last 15 years; Empirical Construction towers above any and all help we've ever hired. Not only was the finished project (we had a complete kitchen remodel, including the removal of a load bearing wall) immaculate, but the entire project from start to finish went smoother than we could have ever expected. We are so happy and so grateful that we choose Josh and his amazing project manager, Chuck, to work with us. Can't say enough about the experience we had with Empirical Construction and their amazing team. Josh was incredibly responsive and quoted us fairly and quickly on our kitchen remodel and communicated our timeline throughout the process. What puts Empirical over the top was working with Chuck as our project manager. Chuck communicated any decisions and changes throughout the process and continually listened to our desires for the remodel. We really appreciated his tact and suggestions when we hit any snags in the planning process and we couldn't be happier with how the project turned out. We hired Empirical to finish our basement over the summer and they did a fantastic job! I interviewed several contractors and Josh was the most professional that I spoke with. He came prepared with lots of information and documentation at our initial meeting. He was very quick to respond and he had an idea for the layout that no one else had thought of. Once things got rolling our project manager was Chuck and I can't speak highly enough of him. He and his team were very professional and everything was completed to our expectations and in some cases beyond. Chuck did a great job of always checking to make sure things were done the right way and if he thought it wasn't good enough he made sure it got done to his standards. He is without a doubt the best contractor I've ever worked with. As far as budget and timeline goes the only things that went over budget were things that we decided to change or upgrade. The timeline also went as expected. Before they even started they gave us an estimate but also told to expect some delays. We expected it to be done by the end of the summer and it was. I would most definitely recommend Empirical Construction for any project and if we need any work done in the future I'll be giving them a call. We had Empirical Construction renovate our kitchen and living area. We are thrilled with the results! All of the contractors working on this project were professional and courteous. I shopped around for a quote on a kitchen and master bathroom remodel. I picked Josh because of his responsiveness and I liked that his quote included architectural drawings so I could envision what we discussed. He spent the most time on a quote for a project he was not guaranteed to win, so that's what drew me in. He was also super nice and patient so that helped too :). I'll be honest- the process started off a little bit rocky and we had a roller coaster ride throughout the project but none of it was a major problem or anything. Most were minor things due to simple miscommunication. I believe this type of stuff happens with any contractor you go with on any type of construction process. Our project manager, Chuck, was fantastic. He was extremely responsive and has a really big heart. He was extremely patient with us, never said no, never made us feel bad for asking him to do anything (even the tiniest little request), and most of all, he cared so much about doing whatever it took to make us happy. He worked his butt off to get every tiny detail the way we wanted it to be. He also loves dogs so we loved watching him interact with our pup. I can't say enough about how hard Chuck worked to make us happy. He is super down to earth and overall just a fantastic person to know- just a really good guy. He also has a super cute kid. ;) Fast forward to the end- Chuck, Josh, and their team did an absolutely fantastic job making our dream kitchen and bathroom come true. The results are just stunning. I look forward to getting ready in the bathroom and spending time in the kitchen now because everything is just so gosh darn beautiful!
