Classic Wood Floors

The pretend “waterproof” Bona type finish was represented to be waterproof which it is not (not poly). Stained immediately. Finish is a complete waste of money. Also, sanding guy stuffed 7 sanding pads down the HVAC vents, rather than walk them to the garbage can.

We had a terrific experience. Mack was informative, flexible and kind. We were on an incredibly tight timeline with refinishing our floors before moving in, and Mack was so understanding and eager to work with us. He was so easy to work with and the floors came out beautifully. His prices are so reasonable and we loved working with him!

Mack did my floor refinishing about 4 years ago and I'm just now getting to getting this review. Whoops. Anyway, the price was right, the quality is great, and Mack is a pleasure to work with. Will use these guys next time I have a job!

These guys did amazing work refinishing my wood floors to make them look brand new! I really appreciated their work ethic - I could tell the crew has a passion not only for the craft itself but for also achieving perfection for their clients. I wanted a natural look and was so pleased with their ability to sand off the old existing stain to reveal the beauty and colors of the natural oak. They were also able to replace damaged boards with perfect substitutes, fill in holes, and install thresholds. Matt was able to do a precise in-person quote very quickly. His crew, Jim and Rich, were so friendly and professional! Rich especially went above and beyond by ensuring every last piece was done (including finding a solution for an odd-sized threshold) before walking away from the job!

I would highly recommend Classic Wood Floors. My house was built in 1925 and still has original hardwood floors that were obviously very poorly taken care of over the years. Classic Wood Floors charged me a very fair price. I had Classic Wood Floors and another hardwood floor company give me an estimate. The other company told me that my living room floors were beyond hope and I should just carpet my living room. The other company gave me a quote that was a few hundred dollars more than what Classic Wood Floors charged me, even though the living room would be taken out of the equation with the other company. With what Classic Wood Floors had to work with, they did an absolutely amazing job! Mack the owner, was easy to work with, and they finished the job quickly. Overall, I am very happy with the work they did.
