image Consistently a bad experience. I can't blame any of it on the employees who always seem to have to make due w the bad situation of being under staffed while constantly inundated with vandals, beggars and active drug addicts who are always waiting at the door harassing staff and customers. Items in the refrigerators are always low or missing. Having to deal w all its issues only to find they usually don't have what I need means I've just stopped coming to this location all together even when it's a block from my house.

image I had considered leaving this review earlier, but wanted to wait in the interest of fairness. Previously, I had always used a different Walgreens pharmacy for prescriptions, but switched to this one because it is closer. I noticed that since the switch it has taken much longer for my prescriptions to be filled. Whereas previously the lag time was at most one day, at this location it is taking up to 5 or 6 days to fill, resulting in gaps between medications running out and the refills. After this occurring several different times, today when asked if I had any questions I calmly and evenly stated verbatim, "no, just actually a broader question. I've noticed that since switching to this pharmacy my medications are taking exponentially longer to be filled and was wondering why that might be." I was not rude, did not yell, accuse, etc. This simple question was met with an eye roll and response as if I was the biggest jerk in the world for calmly asking a question. I was then given the reason that this was an especially busy location near hospitals. While, to a degree, I can buy that, the previous Walgreens location I used was also in a very busy part of town near hospitals. Thus, it seems somewhat unlikely that this alone can account for a difference that isn't just small, but significant. However, I suppose that we live in a time during which any pretty basic customer service request or question is met with "how dare you" derision.
Setting aside, this particular issue, (cue sarcasm now), I did really appreciate my previous visit during which I was in the process of trying to pay for my prescription, but was then made to wait so that the employee could go outside to take pictures of the hail storm that was just beginning. I am very thankful that I was not able to get my car under cover (I live 2 minutes away) and now get to pay to have it repaired because apparently part of the pharmacist job description is weather documentation. I suppose it's possible that this side-hustle of weather reporter is only given to the employees at this particular Walgreens, making it all the more understandable that it takes longer for prescriptions to be filled.
Needless to say, will be switching pharmacies.

image Absolutely brutal store/pharmacy. Make their own hours. New employee trying to figured out how to run the register everytime I go inside. The turnover has to be a new employee every month. Might be ran by a homeless man
