        This is only a review of Shantia's service (usually she's in one of the upscale women's clothing departments, but was covering in athletic wear) and a general overview of my usual experiences in this department. I called to see if they had an item in my size and the color I wanted. Shantia was very kind, patient and helpful with my inquiry. It turns out they had the item, so I went to get it. She helped me find the size from the back for another item I saw that I really enjoyed as well! When I go to Nordstrom, I go to the women's athletic section. I've been around 8-10 times and this was the first time I was offered help without me asking. I know, not a huge problem to have... privileged person problem- but Nordstrom used to be first class customer service. I think things have just changed everywhere, but when I get kind and helpful service, it always feels better and is very impactful to my shopping experience. I don't *always* need assistance, but when looking for something specific (for working at a bougie athletic type place) it is very nice to have someone help you find your size or pick things out!
