Budget Car Rental

Beware!!! We rented a van from here on Sunday 1/30/22 for my sons 7th Birthday. We needed it to drive kids to the movies at the 16th st pavilions and back. We returned it that evening so not even a full 24 hours. All checked out and was great. Then today I received a letter almost a year later saying we owe $129 for glass damage. We called corporate and they said they are franchised and we need to call that location. We called that location today and they said we need to call customer service. If they do this for a 12 hour rental, imagine what they would do if you had it for a few days! We did the walk around and made all the damage noted before renting along with photos and videos and then returned it and they called and said all good. I truly would be careful if using this specific location they must be hurting for money.

Brought car back with full tank as per indicator on the dash - but charged $17 for a "fuel service" anyway.

The gentleman who helped us was kind and professional. I was extremely disappointed the vehicle we rented was not cleaned and we had to pay out of pocket to clean the car. Even after doing this we had to suffer with a horrible odor for the duration of having this rental.

Came to pick up my rental car with information outlined in terms and conditions which I read through when I reserved online. Was told at store by Brian I needed credit card and would not take debt card or issue me a refund. Instead was completely unhelpful and pushed me off to a 1800 number which I had a 30 min wait with. DO NOT RESERVE ONLINE bc they do no properly state terms and conditions.
