Maria, A one-star review is a very serious, harmful, and damning action to take against a self-employed person in the service industry. I would completely understand if you didn’t think I earned a five-star review based on your complaints about time management (which is not accurate), however a one-star review implies that my services in every aspect were terrible. There is nothing said about the quality of my work. Only time, and cost. When in the end you were happy and expressed how much you loved your hair. I would like to apologize for giving you any indication, in any way, that your time was not important to me. I’d also like to take the opportunity to address your negative review, time management, and explain the process. You requested a fashion color service and haircut. Which I explained in advance will take at least three hours, yet prepare for longer. We did originally schedule for 11 am, yet due to online booking, while we were discussing, someone else booked the 11 slot before I could even get in and book your appointment. So, I had to push you out to 11:30 and I took full blame for that. You were in my chair shortly after 11:30. We conducted a color consultation, looked up pictures online for reference, and also discussed the haircut. This all took approximately 30 minutes.Then, I had to go into the back and prepare the color and get everything ready and pulled out to begin the service. We started the color service at 12:15, and I am 100 percent confident in this as I took pictures of your hair before we started. Also at 12:38, I have a video of me part way through the first process of your services that I was performing. Attached below the time stamped photos and video. You requested a fashion color and haircut service. Which, in the beginning is just for the color of a double process appointment. Due to the condition of your hair and desired color it ended up becoming a triple process color. The extra step of toning your hair had to be made. Each process takes up to one hour to complete with application, processing, and rinsing the hair out. We were completely finished with your service at 3:22 as I have the final look also time stamped and the results documented, including a haircut on top of the triple process color service you requested. My prices are very clearly marked as well. Fashion color STARTS AT $200 Toners start at $60 Haircuts for women are $60 So with just that, the price should have actually been higher than $300 by the end of the service. Also, with the consideration that you have thick, coarse hair, you actually required more products used to even achieve the desired color. So price’s do go up and can go up from there. I would like to remind you of this conversation. You were talking about money and starting a new job and finishing school, so I extended an offer to you that within the week, if the yellow did fade out too much because you have resistant hair, that I would apply a fashion toner at no cost for you. This is a service that I normally charge starting at $80. Now, I am very sorry you feel I didn’t make the best efforts of time management with your service you requested. I do value my clients time and well as my own time both are important. I did, however, have your service from start to finish done in less than 3 1/2 hours and with even an extra step that was needed on top of what we had already booked for. I did get behind on other appointments made that evening because I cannot predict the exact timeframe one’s color will take. It is based on guesstimating how long a process will take and the steps needed. I did go over this beforehand with the consultation we had via text which I will include in the pictures below. So, in conclusion to this review given as I have proven here , time management was very well under control and actually quite better than really how long it should have taken. I am sorry you feel that I wasted your time
