La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs South AP

Though the room was spacious, it seemed outdated with the upholstery. Service wasnt that great as my companion and I had to wait ten minutes at an unmanned desk before someone actually came to help us purchase something from the snack bar. For the price per night, definitely is not worth it. Ive been to cheaper hotels with better service. The only hotel that I can say Ive been to that is far worse than this one is the super8 motel located on Rucina road off of garden of the gods. All in all the stay at the la Quinta wasnt too bad. One saving grace is the breakfast. Food & drinks: Walking distance to movie theatre, food and drink shops.

we called and asked if their pool was open, they assured us it was open and operational, but when we arrived it was closed for the foreseeable future.

Gross, terrible Food crumbs in the stitching of the mattress. Mattress sunk in Broken lamps, clogged sink

Filthy! Room was disgusting! Will never stay at La Quinta again. Shame on Wyndham for offering such poor accommodations. Rooms: Disgusting! Room in disrepair as well. Paid for the best they had to offer but was very upset with filth of accommodations! Never again!

I gave this LQ location less than 5-stars during my last visit (or maybe it was the one before that) due to the room being not up to par. This time my room was excellent. The carpet could use some steam/ deep cleaning for minor stains, BUT, this is a pet friendly and some stains on the carpet are tolerable. The front staff are very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Max and Michael, their professionalism definitely makes this place homely and elevates this hotel to another level. Rooms: My room was clean with no stains on the table, hair on the bathroom floor, and the A/C worked great. Nearby activities: Tinsel Town movie theater and Old Chicago Pizza +Tap are right beside the hotel. Carrabba's, Outback and Buffalo Wild Wings are across the street (1-2 min walk).
