Our deck was constructed 10 years ago. It held up great, just needed a trim replacement/painting and a low voltage lighting tune up. The repair was quick, and looks fantastic. I'm shocked at all the 5-star reviews. Our experience has been anything BUT 5-star. We signed a contract to build out our covered patio and outdoor kitchen in Aug 2021. It's now almost Feb 2023 and we are not close to finished, and probably won't be until April 2023 when considering weather issues. This is a $6-figure job, and we feel like they could care less about us and/or we're too small a project. We are on our second PM who doesn't seem to feel like he is responsible for our satisfaction and tells us to push our issues to the front office. It all started with a concrete pour that didn't match our design, so required a re-pour. We had concrete run-off into a window well that had to be chipped out by hand. Concrete sealing was done poorly and in reverse order so it doesn't look like the slabs at their showroom. We are very skeptical that the electrical work will actually come close to the agreed design. They chopped up our irrigation system during site prep, which we will have to pay to rebuild afterward. The roof tiles don't mate up to the main house tile line. We get NO communication from the PM or front office (other than when we need to submit our incremental payments); subcontractors just randomly drop supplies or show up in between weeks of inactivity. The front office even neglected to tell us that our original PM was no longer with the company until I asked what was happening after another multi-week period with no communication. This project has now become the butt of jokes in our neighborhood. I honestly don't know if we can get this finished to our satisfaction without legal action of some kind. Had we known what was coming, we would have never signed the contract with Mosaic. Service: Patio decks
