    I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at this franchised Verizon store that I feel compelled to share. A few months ago, I walked into the store with the simple task of removing my Apple Watch from my service plan. However, the employee I encountered had a different agenda and insisted on "doing it his way." Despite my clear and repeated requests, he persistently tried to convince me to switch the line over to a new iPad that he was eager to sell me. The more I declined, the more frustrated and dismissive he became, as if my preferences and choices didn't matter. What made matters worse was his complete disregard for my personal property. Without asking for permission, he brazenly grabbed my phone and began navigating through my settings to make the changes he wanted, not what I had asked for. This invasion of privacy and lack of respect left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer. It's worth noting that this Verizon store operates as a franchised location, meaning it doesn't adhere to the same standards and customer service requirements as the corporate-owned stores. This information is important to consider before deciding to visit this particular store. Unfortunately, my frustrations didn't end there. After leaving the store, I noticed that my phone was experiencing difficulties in placing calls and connecting to the network. Concerned about these issues, I decided to contact Verizon corporate for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that the sales representative at the store had intentionally locked my account without any valid reason or authorization. The corporate representative acknowledged the incompetence of the individual at the store and swiftly reversed the account lock. In addition, they apologized on behalf of the store and advised me to steer clear of that location in the future. They recommended opting for one of their corporate-owned stores, where I could expect a higher standard of staff competence and customer service. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise against wasting your time at this particular Verizon location. Instead, I recommend going to one of their corporate-owned stores for a more positive and professional experience. No customer should ever feel pressured, disrespected, or talked down to by a business, and unfortunately, this store failed to meet even the most basic expectations of customer care. Save yourself the frustration and go to a Verizon corporate store where you can expect better service and a more pleasant customer experience.
