Very awesome place to live. Charming old home with a lot of character. Landlord really goes the extra mile to make sure tenants feel heard and taken care of.

Sharon is one of my favorite people, and this has an incredibly safe and affordable rental. Oh, and I'm able to sleep at night thanks to superior management.

Its truly a beautiful property but what a waste. The landlords are unpleasant, unwelcoming, and very excitable people. They were very nosey, and did not welcome our friends or family visiting us. They would pop in unannounced or make weird excuses to come in and snoop around the apartment. I caught the woman taking pictures of my closet. They put a camera on our unit, no joke. Im a student and work as a tech at the hospital and my husband is in the military we werent running some covert operation in this place... (we are tidy and quiet people in our 30s) Sooo we left ASAP!!! We cleaned the apartment SPOTLESS and she still gouged us in the end but we were so desperate to leave we let her win. Worst place I have ever rented from, 150% wouldnt recommend!!!!!!!!! We have been with our wonderful landlords for over 4 years now!!

Everything bad that has been said is true. I had someone over for more than a week and they entered my apartment with no notice, claiming it was for a water leak, but then never ever told me afterword. I found out because they changed me $500 for having someone else clothes in my closet. As well as yelling at my guest walking down the stairs. I found out everything second hand, and everytime I tried to find them they weren't there. You have to not have a job and stake out their office to ever find them, because they have never heard of a phone or email. Well unless you are giving them money, then they magically appear. To top everything off they ripped me off on the security deposit. I gave the old man my forwarding address for the deposit then he lost it. I had to call them a hundred time to find they mailed it to my address at their apartments. She said I could come by and get it or they could remail to me. I chose mail, because I never wanted to see them again. Then when it got to me she took $45 off the top to remail it. Why wouldn't she say that when she gave me the options. They are straight up crooks.

Wonderful people that treat you like family. The people that rated this place poorly are lying and must have had mental issues. Van and Co. is the best place to live in the downtown area with people that care.
