The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley

We had a lovely staycation for one night celebrating my husbands and my birthday. The rooms were well laid out, clean, and quiet. The pool and hot tubs are the big draw for us. The hotel lobby and bar were an unexpected highlight, lots of comfortable seating areas and live music. We also enjoyed the new rooftop bar. Highly recommend! We will be back. Rooms: Clean and quiet. Food & drinks: Drinks were good, love that they have N/A options.

Beautiful location and new facility. Everything is very clean & nice. Hot tubs & pools were great. Amazing workout facility. Seamless high speed wifi. The restaurant really knows how to put on a show. Inside parking had plenty of height for a rocket box and to maneuver large vehicles. We had a central unit, so the view was of other buildings with glimpses of the mountains. However all beds were too soft and pillows while plentiful were sorely lacking in support; enough people slept poorly the whole time that I had to include it. Nearby activities: Hiking, shopping, restaurants and public transport-what more could you want. Saw several folks walking in ski boots so that cant be too far away either. Safety: We felt very safe here. Keys & locks functioned well. Walkability: Most things are easily walkable. Its beautiful outside, get out there. Food & drinks: On-site restaurant is phenomenal.

What a disappointment! Esthetically pleasing but the art of service and hospitality is dead. You would think this would be a place where you would still find these dwindling considerations but apparently the Westin no longer cares. We were there with a medium sized conference and just about everyone we talked to had the same experiences. Even down to Simply getting a receipt over the phone the entire experience was completely unpleasant. I'm praying our event coordinators take this into consideration from this point forward. If this was how so many people within our company felt about the experience I'm sure our customers felt the same way.
