I found Dr Quan personable, engaging, and competent .I was referred to Dr Quan by a physician in another city for diagnosis and treatment for a rare nerve disorder. She understood the condition, gave me a very thorough exam, recommended continuing with my current medications and offered some welcomed encouragement. I went back for a followup visit later while concerned that my nerve disorder was spreading to my hands. She quickly diagnosed it as carpal tunnel, called in a therapist , waited while the therapist fitted me with wrist braces and instructions, and then wound up our previous discussions of medication dosage. I love this doctor and would recommend her to anyone.

Im pretty appalled that this woman has made it this far without someone insisting she learn how to relate to other human beings. She is so lacking in social emotional intelligence that you will likely leave the appointment feeling invalidated, over reactive and unseen. She asks questions, interrupts you when youre answering, seems irritated and annoyed the whole time, and I really wonder if she has any compassionate bone in her body. No real answers, no desire to think outside the box, or inside it for that matter, just left feeling crazy fir wanting to know whats wrong with me or what causes my disturbing and frightening worsening neurolical impairments. Zero listening skills, zero compassion, super unimpressive in her willingness to troubleshoot. Gives doctors a bad name. Dont waste your time, find a better and nicer dr

Dr. Quan initial presence into the room became quickly apprent she was not connected /open to the exam taking place. She seemed to have zero interest in all of the timeline myself , family and physicians had in place to assist in future diagnostic steps. She was highly contradictive in her statements to myself and family as well as her notes/physician opinion to my physician via some medical factors and statements. It was the absolute most frustrating moment to have her state her opinion and then contradict them with symptom relief to that contradiction??!! OUR family was baffled by this behavior especially bedside manner. Orders for MRI work has been a very frustrating experience as they were sent to the town I reside in and even those were not properly attended to from Dr. Quan and staff. My hometown Hospital radiology team are working diligently to assist in this process to achieve completion. However, The nurse assisting Dr. Quan , had the upmost kind and positive bedside manner. My family greatly appreciated this positivity from the nurse in a room filled with extensive negative behavior from the actual physician who seems to lack the above listed behaviors. I pray for Dr. Quan ,as she is a human being, to overcome this obstical should it appear again. Also, for her to research more in depth prior to sending out/personally speaking contradictive statements that put other families in confusion, enormous misunderstanding and overall emotional distress.
