Dr. Richard L. Stieg, MD

Dr Steig is one of the finest doctors I've ever been to. He knew most everything, but was never afraid to learn something new.He is a board certified neurologist, who at times, through his career was working alongside our workers comp. system, to help the injured, as well as having the awful task of weeding out the injured from those just trying to get out of work. ( A big problem in this country.) I hit my head on a few boards, and thought at first I had a concussion. After x-rays, CT scans, MRI... I was released back to work, partially, but the concussion never seemed to go away. All Dr.'s involved, Did their best to get me out of the system, thinking I was faking. I'm sure Dr Steig had some of the same thoughts, but once he realized I was not, he was "all in" with my condition until we got it figured out, and treated. It turned out that my 1st and 2nd vertebrae had gotten detached on one side, torn ligaments and my head was disconnected from my neck on one side. (Very rare, without some sort of paralyzation) . He sent me through proper channels to the right doctors who fixed me enough to give me some sort of enjoyable life. He was in charge of monitoring my condition, and pain until he retired from his Denver practice. Without Dr. Steig, I would probably not be alive today. This Doctor needs to have his license taken away as soon as possible. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. First off, the very first day I went to see him, he had me alone in his office, had candles lit and THAT was out of line and very unusual for a doctor. He kept drawing the conversation to my sex life. And he kept asking if I make good money in my career. What does that have to do with anything? I never returned after that first meeting. His secretary Barbara is very rude, and you cannot understand anything she says. It was only a few weeks later when we were at a dinner party and his name was brought up by not only one couple but several married and single women. He's creepy STAY AWAY!
